Welcome to my favorite building in the whole city! Having lived there for a whole year, back when I was managing the building and the airbnb rentals aspect of the 40 units we currently have under management, I really got to see the whole experience, from back to front, of what it feels to be in Medellin’s coolest skyscraper.

Everyday, I would wake up excited to the unobstructed view of all sorts of fascinating trees; fluffy yellows, bright reds, and never-ending greens. In the afternoon, numerous types of birds, from macaws to amazonian motmots, would soar proudly next to the highest cubes, close to the 22nd floor of the edifice, where the infinity pool is located. It was absolute paradise.

Not only was I living in the most attractive construction in town, but I also got to meet all the interestingly different owners, and get an in-depth look at each and one of the apartments. Quirky, modern, eccentric, contemporary, and beautiful, were the words that always came to mind, to say the least. Their style resonated 100% with my philosophy and airbnb’s three musketeer original co-founders: it’s not just about the apartment; it’s about the EXPERIENCE.

That “experience”, I commonly found, tended to be heightened by having a place with a balcony, which allowed the feeling of “the outside coming in”. In the case of this apartment, located on the 8th floor, I found myself sitting in the large balcony for prolonged periods of time, just to admire the setting.

I find this apartment very appealing, especially for those interested in having a second home in Medellin, and renting it out as they enjoy their time elsewhere. The airbnb model works seamlessly in this unit, where we have been in operation for the past 14 months.
